Wow, esto me da esperanza de que podamos dar la vuelta a la esquina antes de nos atrape el monstruo de Peak Oil. Así poco a poco, otras energías distintas al petróleo tomarán su lugar. Ojalá crezcan estas turbinas (un megawatt equivale a un millon de watts, o a 10 mil focos de 100 watts. Un refrigerador doméstico funciona con mil watts) de por todos los océanos. Marine Current Turbines Ltd, the global leader in tidal stream technology, has successfully completed the installation of its 1.2MW SeaGen tidal energy system in Strangford Narrows in Northern Ireland.
